Very strong on his skates and very strong on the puck.  When Skjei handles the puck, you can tell he’s in control.  Not flashy, but he simply doesn’t need to be to exert his influence on the play.  Controlled the play with a calmness that was very effective.

With skating as his foundation, Skjei will continue to progress in all his phases of the game.  As impressive a players as we saw in the second half of last season.
