Draftability:
NHL Central Scouting final ranking #9 – North American skaters
All the superlatives are deserved regarding Trouba’s skills package. You name the skill – skating, physicality, defensive awareness and vision. Did I mention skating? His mobility alone would get him first round looks. When you add the whole package, it’s simply hard to see him lasting into the double digits in the first round. Could go as high as #5.

CHP Take:
Trouba cemented his position atop this list (and I suspect many others) with his play as the USA squad’s best, and YOUNGEST, blueliner at last winter World Junior Championships. It will not be long before he’s excelling in a pro setting somewhere.
