In his own words:

On MLive.com: “The way things are going with (WMU coach Andy) Murray coming in and the new guys they have, they seem to have a good thing set up for a few years. They have a good core. I’m excited to come in and be a part of that.”

What they’re saying:

WMU Assistant Coach Rob Facca: “Mike a very tough kid.  He sticks up for his teammates and is definitely a guy you want back there. He’ll add a lot of size to our blue line and make us very tough to play against.”

CHP take:

You can’t teach size and McKee has that going for him.  He’s proven his toughness this season in the USHL after playing prep school hockey in Connecticut for the past two years.
